Send us your story!

The success of thdailytale.com relies on writers submitting their short stories. As such, we accept submissions via email, all year round, and respond to every submission within 30 days.

We're not able to pay you, but if accepted, your work will be offered as a Daily Tale and archived permanently in the Library. For the legal minded, we're not looking for print rights, just internet rights.

We only accept previously unpublished works, and we do not accept simultaneous submissions so please send only one story at a time. After receiving a response, feel free to send another.

Formatting Guidelines
   
Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email address on the top of page one. Your name, the title of your story, and a page number should appear on every page and our preferred font is 12pt Arial.

Sending Submissions

There are a couple of rules for emailed submissions:
1. Attach your story as a word document.
2. Use your name and the title of the story for the email Subject
